Daily reporting was required on the COVID-19 situation from circa 28,000 establishments across England, to collect data relating to the pandemic such as number of staff and headcounts of people on site. This was to allow for a snapshot of the situation for use by various stakeholder groups.
Magia created an online, interactive, and secure data collection tool that was deployed and made available to the establishments. The data was persisted to a SQL database, serving multiple analytics applications. All this was done just prior to, and during lockdown, under very aggressive timescales.
An accurate snapshot of the situation, and the trend, was achieved. Real-time, daily data collection provided an essential view of data to decision makers.

Magia has a pre-built connector that links Intelligent Advisor Hub to Microsoft Dynamics, which gives users intelligent online forms and automation of complex logic such as calculations and decisions, adding rich new functionality to any installation of Microsoft Dynamics. The connector is a standalone service written in .NET that will run in Azure and connects directly to Microsoft Dynamics 365 using the standard MS APIs.
